specific foods to incorporate

Hair is composed of the protein keratin. Because hair is inert material, shampoos and rinses enriched with protein or other nutrients cannot affect hair growth or make hair "healthier."

About hair loss. Hair loss may be either the result of illness or a normal genetic response to testosterone, the male sex hormone. A healthy human head has from 80,000 to 150,000 hairs, each of which passes through three phases of growth independently of all the others. At any time, 90 percent of the hairs are in the growing stage (anagen), which lasts anywhere from 1 to 5 years. Growth is followed by a resting phase (telogen); this ends after a few months, after which the hair is shed (catagen) to allow new growth. A daily loss of 50 to 200 hairs is a normal part of the cycle.

Although baldness is mediated by hormonal factors, it tends to run in families; your risk may be deduced from the number of bald males among members of both parents' families. Abnormal hair loss may be precipitated by metabolic disorders (including diabetes, thyroid disease, and crash diets); damage to hair shafts caused by harsh treatments; stress brought on by illness; hormonal changes of pregnancy; medical treatment, including cancer chemotherapy; and very severe scalp disorders.

Nutritional causes may be a grossly excessive intake of vitamin A or a deficiency of iron, biotin, zinc, or protein. Such deficiencies are rare, although an excessive intake of raw egg whites can lead to a depletion of biotin.

Treatments. The only medicines for baldness are minoxidil (Rogaine), a topical medicine, and finasteride (Propecia), an oral prescription drug. Hair loss due to stress or drug treatment is generally temporary. Hair that falls out during a crash diet soon regrows once nutrition returns to normal. Hair lost in patches usually grows back without treatment, but in some instances, corticosteroid injections may be needed.

About dandruff. Dandruff -- excessive scaling of the scalp -- affects more than 50 percent of the population. It may be due to stress or a chronic or recurrent skin disorder, such as seborrheic dermatitis, but the most likely cause is infection by Pytyrosporum ovale fungus. This fungus is found naturally on the scalp but some people are more affected by it than others. It feeds on the skin's natural oils and causes irritation and shedding of dead skin. Many people shed flakes of dandruff, especially in winter, when the scalp may be dry. But some people have a hereditary tendency to develop skin problems that are triggered by a sensitivity to specific foods. Because the offending food varies from one person to the next, the only reasonable advice is to avoid foods that seem to make dandruff worse.

Treatments. Some cases of dandruff may respond to flaxseed oil, which seems to help itchy skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. Take 1 to 2 teaspoons a day. You'll need to wait several weeks or months to see an effect.

To control mild dandruff, doctors usually recommend shampooing daily until the dandruff is under control, followed by twice weekly for maintenance. Dandruff shampoos contain zinc pyrithione, tar, or selenium sulfide, all of which work as exfoliants to hasten the shedding of the dead cell layer from the scalp. If these do not work well, shampoos that contain the antifungal medication ketoconazole can be tried.

How to Select a Qualified Plastic Surgeon

Cosmetic or aesthetic surgery is a very popular subject these days. Make a search on the internet for cosmetic or plastic surgery and you will get millions of results - web sites of plastic surgeons of different nationalities, various procedures available, advice for cheap plastic surgery, before and after photos, celebrity patients, clinics and surgery travel packages for various countries, news from around the world, and more.

There is an increasing number of individuals from all walks of life who undergo cosmetic surgery each year PolyU YouTube. How should someone considering plastic surgery select a plastic surgeon and make an informed decision? Patients considering cosmetic surgery should know that choosing the right surgeon is the single most important decision they will make. Today, many doctors perform cosmetic plastic surgery but not all of them have trained as plastic surgeons. Once doctors get their medical degrees, they may practice any specialty, even if they have not completed advanced training in that field. And so, a doctor who performs cosmetic plastic surgery is not necessarily trained as a plastic surgeon. He may have merely observed the procedure or taken a short course or workshop. To ensure the best results for the surgery you are considering, choose an authentic plastic surgeon with the specialized training and experience that is necessary for the success of your surgery.

As you visit the websites of plastic surgeons, they should provide you with basic information about plastic surgery and the various procedures available. You should be able to find information about the surgeon's formal training and experience. From the website, you should also be able to get an idea about the surgeon's basic approach and philosophy on cosmetic surgery and patient care.

Training

Select a surgeon who has completed at least five to six years of formal training in plastic and reconstructive surgery in accredited training hospitals. This includes three to five years of general surgery residency and two to three years of plastic surgery residency. In the Philippines, these doctors are either board-eligible or board-certified by the Philippine Board of Plastic Surgery. Doctors who have completed residency training in plastic and reconstructive surgery are the only doctors who can rightfully claim to be plastic surgeons. Many doctors who perform cosmetic surgery procedures are board-certified in specialties other than plastic surgery or may even lack such credentials.

Experience

Good credentials provide a reasonable indication of a doctor's qualification to perform cosmetic surgery, and should serve as the basic starting point. Patients should then ask the surgeon about his experience. How long has he been in practice and how many times has he done the procedure you are considering? The broader your surgeon's experience, the greater your chances for a successful surgery.

Hospital Privileges

Another factor to consider is whether the surgeon has hospital privileges. Before a hospital grants privileges to physicians, they usually require certain standards of training and competence to be met. Although many cosmetic surgery procedures may be safely done in outpatient clinics, others should only be done in a hospital setting Mental Health Nursing BSc. It is best to choose a surgeon who has hospital privileges.

Consultation

Find a plastic surgeon whom you feel comfortable with. You should be able to communicate easily with him, ask him all your questions and discuss your needs and expectations. Make sure you have all the facts you need in order to make an informed judgement.

A good plastic surgeon should be able to evaluate whether you are a good candidate for the surgery you are considering. He should be able to educate you about your options and give you advice about the best technique for your needs. If there are less invasive or non-surgical procedures that could fulfill your needs, the surgeon should be able to tell you about them.

Realize that pre- and post-operative photos of the surgeon's patients can be useful in helping you understand the surgery but are no guarantee that your results will be similar. Every individual is different.

Beware of any doctor who tells you there are no possible risks involved in surgery. There are always risks, and these should be discussed frankly.

Never allow a doctor to talk you into any procedure you don't want. A reputable plastic surgeon will let the patient suggest what he or she wants done and then advise them on what is or is not possible.

Be skeptical of any doctor who seems to avoid talking about his or her training and professional qualifications.

Price

Although price is definitely a factor when considering elective surgery, don't "bargain shop" for plastic surgery. Any surgery is still surgery and has some uncertainty and risk involved. When price is the primary factor for choosing a plastic surgeon, risks increase. The success of your surgery is largely dependent on your choice of surgeon and professional qualifications and experience should be your main consideration in selecting your plastic surgeon. Even when you go to popular clinics where a number of surgeons practice as a group, take a look at the qualifications of the particular surgeon who will be handling your case.

Good plastic surgeons may charge relatively affordable fees, especially if they practice in Asian countries like the Philippines, where cost of living expenses are low and if they can keep overhead costs low by having modest outpatient surgery clinics. But think twice if the surgeon you're considering charges much lower than other plastic surgeons in the same country. Especially if the procedure to be done is in the face, like a rhinoplasty (nose surgery), blepharoplasty (eye surgery) or rhytidectomy (face lift), you could end up having to stare at your "cheap" doctor's mistakes in the mirror every day Hair Styling class. No wonder there are also so many searches made for "awful plastic surgery".

Your Face at Eighty? Look at Grandma for Answers

Much of what we do for health and fitness is more for the benefit of our future selves than for our current ones. Don’t smoke now so you don’t get cancer later. Don’t tan now so you don’t wrinkle later. Don’t eat ice cream for breakfast now so you don’t develop diabetes—you get the picture Pillow.

Wouldn’t it be amazing if something could show you a glimpse of what your future holds? But there is! Your grandparents. Monstrously poor life choices aside, the way your grandparents have aged can clue you in to how you might age; by looking at them, you can get some insight into what you have to look forward to.

Your Looks

Okay, if your grandma is a three-pack-a-day smoker or has spent her whole life tanning, those activities might skew the results here. But for most people, grandparents can clue you in to how your body is going to hold up over the years. Is grandma’s hair thinning? When did she start going gray? Did she gain weight after having kids or after menopause? Did her skin stay smooth? Here’s an infuriating little dose of reality: a lot of aging is genetic. Some people hit the chromosomal jackpot, and some don’t. If your grandmother looks older than her years, that might be extra incentive for you to live healthy and stay out of the sun. Just a thought.

Your Faculties

True story: one of my grandmothers wore glasses her entire life until late middle age, when her eyesight spontaneously started improving. Seriously! By about age seventy, she didn’t need them anymore. While I can’t promise miracles for everyone, it’s good to evaluate your grandparents’ eyesight, hearing, and mental capabilities. Even the sense of taste is affected by the aging process Neo skin lab. Maybe the most you can do to stave off disaster is to do some crossword puzzles, but still, it’s a start.

Your Health

Again, you have to consider lifestyle choices here. If your grandmother is a lifelong smoker, you’re not necessarily doomed to lung cancer, and if she’s made poor food and exercise choices, you might not end up with her heart problems. But if your grandmother is healthy and active yet still struggles with cholesterol or high blood pressure, you may face those things, too. It’s not just a propensity for heart disease or arthritis that can be passed down—diseases like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, not to mention many cancers, have been found to have genetic components, as have diabetes, osteoporosis, and arthritis.

If your grandparents did make those monstrously poor life choices, look on the bright side. If your grandparents have spent their lives drinking whiskey and smoking unfiltered cigarettes and are still kicking it well into their eighties, that indicates genetic resiliency, and you could have inherited it just like you inherited grandma’s birthing hips or sharp hearing. Either way, you should call her to talk about it dermes. She’d probably love to hear from you.

The Secret to Shiny Hair

I'm sure you've seen on TV the Pantene commercial where the hair shines like a mirror. I don't know why other hair commercials don't do the same thing with all that shine.

I do like the Pantene shampoo because there is silk in it.

For one thing, what I learned going to cosmetology school is that you need to shampoo your hair 2 times to get the crap out of your hair. The first time you shampoo your hair, you bring the dirt up to the surface, and the 2nd time you shampoo dermes, you get all the residual dirt out of your hair. The second time you shampoo your hair, just use a dime size amount.

Now that you shampooed your hair, you can use a conditioner, especially if it has silk in it.

The biggest secret to shiny hair is to use either lemon juice or apple cider vinegar in a spray bottle to get your hair back to its natural ph and closes the cuticle. When the cuticle is closed that's when you hair is shiny.

Make sure you use a natural bristle brush or comb and always comb in the direction the hair falls, which is down.

If you want to use a light mousse, that's fine but after you comb it aviation engineering, just leave it alone and let it dry naturally.

Now if you blow dry your hair, again, blow dry it in a downward motion. This allows the cuticle to stick together naturally. Then your hair will reflect light. If you blow your hair against the natural direction, your hair will not be shiny. You can also use Infusium Leave In Conditioner to protect your hair. Infusium will untangle any knots.

If you use a curling iron, use one of those ceramic curling irons--the professional ones. It can make your hair extremely shiny because again you are using the iron in a downward direction best design school. It is good if you can use Infusium Leave-in spray conditioner to protect the hair.

the sunless tanning pill

The ingredients of a sunless tanning pill will vary, and in many instances, there is no clear ingredient breakdown on the label. A sunless tanning pill will generally contain either caretenoid pigments or tyrosine, or they will prove to be nothing more than hyped up multivitamins. Other ingredients vary from pill to pill, and often they are nothing more than nutritional supplements. The pills work by altering the skin's pigmentation, though not always in the way one would expect or desire for a tan. Some simply turn the skin orange rather than tan. Others end up with the pigment placed unexpectedly in the body, producing less-than-perfect results.

The caretenoid tanning pill works by depositing pigment in fat layers just under the skin, which colors it. Unfortunately, the amount of these substances that are required to be taken is high enough as to have been deemed unsafe by the FDA.

Tyrosine, another base for sunless tanning pills, is a non-essential amino acid that helps skin cells produce melanin. There's no need to supplement for it, which means that pills containing tyrosine are not up to their manufacturers' claims.

While having a great tan without effort and risk of skin damage can be a wonderful feeling, and while the convenience of a sunless tan can be immense, there are some methods that are just not worth the risks to tanners' health. The sunless tanning pill would be one of these methods. Tanners looking for a convenient, safe, sunless tan would do well to look elsewhere for that golden glow.

Correct Shampoo Technique?

Few people realize there's a correct way to shampoo your hair, says George Caroll, a stylist, hair product designer, and consultant to the entertainment and beauty industry in Hollywood. He says proper shampooing not only improves the look of hair but also helps slow hair loss and promote healthier hair growth. He recommends the following:

Before you even step into the shower, brush your hair from front to back with a stiff boar-bristle brush. This will stimulate circulation and prevent the buildup of styling products.

Wet hair with warm water. (Hot water can strip your hair of protective oils.) Apply shampoo at the nape of the neck and shampoo the hairline first, followed by the top of your head.

Massage your entire scalp at least three times to push nutrients into the hair bulb and free your hair follicles of clogging deposits.

After rinsing your hair thoroughly, apply your conditioner. If you are doing all this outside the shower, wrap a "steam towel" (a wet towel that's been microwaved for two minutes) around your head and leave it on for 30-60 seconds. The steam will make moisturizing conditioners work more effectively by allowing the conditioner to be evenly absorbed into each hair strand.

How Dreams Can Help Us Make Peace With Grief

Our dreams can help us untangle our emotions about people who are no longer with us, according to psychologist Patricia Garfield, PhD, who's written nine books on dreams. After her husband of 33 years died in 2002, Garfield developed a theory that grieving people experience "dream seasons" while mourning the loss of loved ones knowledge exchange

During the first season, akin to the traditional period of grief, people dream destructive images. "I dreamed of sweeping up shattered glass, like the shattering of a life," Garfield recalls. Later, in the second dream season, people experience chaotic dreams filled with swirling emotions of sadness and guilt. "People feel isolated in this season," she says SmarTone. "Older women get depressed and the suicide rate among older men shoots up."

Finally, in the third dream season, individuals transfer their recollections to precious memories, and their dream images turn positive with new life. "I dreamed of babies, reflecting the length of time since my husband died," says Garfield, who's interviewing other widows about their dreams for a forthcoming book on the subject. "After three months, I dreamed of looking at an infant in a baby carriage. After six months, I dreamed of an adorable baby sitting up and laughing. Dreams have a special power to help us let go of someone we love part time degree."

This Valentine's Day, Fall in Love With Your Body

In the midst of showing undying love and affection toward our spouse, significant other, kids, mom, friends and anyone else for whom Hallmark makes a Valentine's Day card, there is one person sorely missing from that list: you.

Sure, giving heart-shape chocolates, red roses and singing cards to our loved ones is certainly well-intended, but what if this Valentine's Day was different? What if it wasn't all about everyone else? What if we had a little love fest that was all our own and the heart of all hearts started within our bodies? A sort of romantic revolution you beauty hard sell, if you will!

Not to get all cheeky with clichés like "you must love yourself before you can love others," but how many of us truly adore, admire and respect our bodies? Just the way they are? Flaws and all?

Only about 10 to 15 percent of women, according to body-image expert and author of "Love Your Body, Love Your Life," Sarah Maria, who also says it's truly shocking that the vast majority of the current American population is dissatisfied with their bodies.

"One of the most pervasive cultural myths that is adopted by women is that they should somehow be different from how they are," says Maria. "This belief is internalized, and they spend their lives trying to be someone, trying to be perfect or better in some way. This is projected onto their bodies, and creates nothing but perpetual suffering and addiction."

For most women, that suffering begins with their weight, age or specific body parts (breasts, hips, butts and thighs top the list). And it's not surprising that society, media, peer pressure and Hollywood play a significant role in promoting the idea of a "perfect body" or even a "better body." Studies even show that when women see images of people they think have the ideal bodies, they feel more dissatisfied and ashamed of their own.

"This false belief drives people to chase after an illusion that does not exists, all based on a delusion that something is wrong with them to begin with and they need to change the way they look," adds Maria.

So if 90 percent of women don't like their bodies, the question then becomes, why? How can we be so critical about the very body that allows us to do what we do every day? The strong legs that run, jump, walk, hike, climb or bike. The beautiful arms that multitask at work, plant in the garden, care for our homes and give others a much-needed embrace. And the powerful core that bears our children, keeps us strong and holds us upright everyday. Our bodies are really amazing machines when you think about it. We just tend not to.

Women who seem to love their bodies the most are those who accept themselves no matter what, according to Maria. "They aren't worried about pleasing other people, and they know they are perfect just as they are -- not because they are special or look a certain way, but rather, they are perfect simply because they exist."

It's this confidence, this gratitude, this sense of purpose that allows a woman to feel great in and about her body.

For the majority of us who may lack that self-esteem and positive body image, the good news is that it's possible to change simply by starting to focus on what we have versus what we don't have.

Maria says the first step is to recognize that you have a negative body image and be willing to change it. From there, it's an ongoing process of shifting your attention. For example, whenever you find yourself obsessing about your body or lamenting how it looks, shift the focus instead to the gift of your body. "Each and every body is a true miracle -- a living, breathing miracle. Simply becoming aware of this fact can make all the difference in the world LASIK."

Psychologist Robyn Silverman agrees.

In her book "Good Girls Don't Get Fat", Silverman talks about the importance of "assets" or the positive aspects of a woman's life. The more assets we have, the more likely we are to thrive despite the negative messages out there about our weight, size, shape and figure.

"Assets such as an encouraging support system (positive parents, peer groups, mentors), a strong sense of purpose, positive self talk, positive role models and involvement in constructive activities like sports, extracurriculars and volunteerism all go a long way towards shaping the way we think of ourselves," says Silverman.

Again, it goes back to focusing on what our bodies can do -- not how flabby our arms are, how big our butt is or what the scale says every morning. In fact, why not get rid of that scale? Most of the time, we don't like what it says anyway, so why start our day with that negativity? Instead, focus on how you feel each morning. Let the amount of energy you have and your outlook on the day be your guide to making any shifts in what you eat, how much you exercise and how you relate to others -- not some idealistic image of someone else.

In addition, here are other ways that Silverman says you can learn to love your body:

Speak up: If you have friends or family who are constantly talking about weight, size and appearance in a negative way... say something! Many peer groups get into a pattern of "fat talk" that is detrimental to everyone. When you bring it up and ask to make your gatherings into a "Fat Talk Free Zone," you may be surprised how much others are sick of the fat talk too. If your friends aren't interested in changing that focus, re-evaluate who you are hanging out with!

Be accountable: Take note of when you feel happy with your body and when you feel the most dissatisfied. If you are unhappy after watching certain shows or spending time with certain people, make the necessary adjustments.

Focus on health, strength, joy and energy rather than weight: Eat and engage in physical activity that makes you feel great rather than tired and drained.

Volunteer your time: There is nothing like getting a little perspective to help you realize how fortunate you are. Volunteering can get our minds off what's wrong with our bodies and focused on how we can be helpful to others. When we are helpful to others, we feel gratified and valuable. We stop evaluating our worth based on appearance and start evaluating it by the good we do in the world.

Be the role model young girls need: We need more women to show young girls that we are more than a sum of our parts. Show them that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Imagine a young girl you love (a daughter, niece, etc.) standing by your side at all times. What are you saying about yourself? About others? Realize that you are part of this culture and by changing the way you speak and behave around weight and appearance Innovative Research, you may just influence someone else to develop positive body esteem. Set the example!

Is It Possible to Shrink Pores?

I suspect that a large number of women out there have an exaggerated idea about the size of their pores—pore dysmorphia, if you will. They look at their faces and see large, gaping holes where microscopic dots should be, and so they slather their skin with every pore-refining cream available, desperate to shrink them into obscurity. Granted, some women do actually have larger than average pores, and others don’t have much of a problem with their pores at all. Even so, if you ask any woman, regardless of skin type reenex 膠原自生, whether she’d prefer her pores to look smaller, the answer is most likely going to be yes. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be nearly as many pore-minimizing products on the market. But is it actually possible to permanently reduce their size?

Why Pore Size Is Permanent

Ladies with the supposed gaping holes on your faces, brace yourselves: it’s impossible to shrink them. That’s because their size is a result of how big your oil glands within them are, and the size of oil glands is determined by genetics. If your parents gave you naturally oily skin, your oil glands are more active and therefore require a larger opening to release all that oil. (On the plus side, having oily skin might also make your skin less wrinkled later in life.) As a result, your pores appear more dilated than the pores of dry-skinned folks do.

Age also plays a factor in pore size. Skin loses elasticity as it ages due to weakened collagen. Collagen helps keep pores small and tight, so when it breaks down, the pores are able to relax and expand more. Many anti-aging products contain ingredients like retinoid to encourage collagen production because that’s what keeps us looking fresh and youthful. Similarly, pore-refining cleansers and creams use the same kinds of ingredients to temporarily combat enlarged pores.

Whether you’re male or female might be a factor in pore size as well, at least according to a study published in a 2006 edition of the British Journal of Dermatology. Researchers found that men tended to have bigger pores than women do, but that women’s pore size “significantly increased” when they ovulated.

Bad Habits That Make ’Em Even Bigger

We can’t always place blame solely on genes and the natural aging process, though. There are also actions within our control that probably contribute to large pores. For example, clogged pores will look noticeably bigger than non-clogged pores. When dirt and bacteria enter a pore, they block the oil glands from pushing oil and dead skin cells out of the small space. The glands don’t stop producing oil; rather, the pore expands to make room for all of the excess that can’t be secreted. If it doesn’t expand enough in time, a pimple will pop up instead. And should you pick at and pop that pimple Neo skin lab, chances are it’ll spread out the diameter of the inflamed pore even more, and that may lead to a permanent scar.

Overexposure to UV rays could also affect pore size, since UV rays break down collagen and make skin look older than it really is. Excessive sun damage irritates and inflames facial skin cells, which also creates a magnifying effect on the pores they surround. A good skincare regimen should include daily application of sunscreen, or at least a facial moisturizer with SPF15 or higher.

Fake It Until You Make It

There’s not much we can do about the genes we’re given or the fact that our bodies age with time. However, there are things we can do to make pores appear smaller than they really are, or to prevent them from clogging up and dilating beyond their natural size. First and foremost, adopting a good skincare regimen is essential. Use noncomedogenic products (the kind that are clinically proven to not clog pores) and always be sure to at least rinse your face in the morning and definitely wash it at night. For those with oily skin, face wash with salicylic acid will curb oil production a little, but it might be too harsh and drying for other skin types. Oil- and acne-prone women should also opt for oil-free lotions and moisturizers.

There are a variety of pore-minimizing products with beneficial ingredients like retinol and vitamin C (which also increases collagen growth), but with so many to choose from, selecting one can be overwhelming. A dermatologist can help you find the best match for your skin type, and she can prescribe products with stronger doses of retinol that aren’t available over the counter. Otherwise, researchers from the Good Housekeeping team came up with a few recommendations after testing numerous products over a four-week period. They found that Patricia Wexler MD Skin Brightening & Pore Refining Serum and DDF Wrinkle Resist Plus Pore Minimizer both yielded a pleasant “soft-focus effect.” There was only one product that actually reduced the appeared size of pores, though: Murad T-Zone Pore Refining Gel.

It’s important to note that it took weeks for any of the products to make a noticeable difference during the study. So even if we can’t permanently shrink pores, at least we can make them look smaller with the right products and skincare habits—and with a little bit of patience. Just as Rome wasn’t built in a day reenex facial, Rome-size pores won’t shrink down in a day, either.

Nicole Kidman Admits to Using Botox

Reports say that Nicole Kidman has finally admitted that she had received Botox injections, after years of denying claims that said otherwise.

The Daily Mail reports that Kidman made the confession to a German magazine when asked how she kept her wrinkles at bay. She replied, "I've tried a lot of things, but apart from working out and a good diet, most things don't help."

Kidman continued, "I even tried Botox, but I didn't like how my face looked afterward. Now I don't use it anymore – and I can move my forehead again."

The 'Rabbit Hole' actress previously told Marie Claire in 2007, "To be honest, I am completely natural. I have nothing in my face or anything. I wear sunscreen, and I don't smoke. I take care of myself. And I'm very proud to say that."

In 2008, the Daily Mail reported that Dr. Braun, a leading Botox doctor, was convinced Kidman was an "enthusiastic user" of Botox.

Braun told a cosmetic medicine conference in Queensland, Australia, "Nicole seems to get her Botox done two or three weeks before a big event, so when she, for instance, goes up on stage to collect her Academy Award she looks frozen and strange."

He continued, "She looks like a bat with too much of an (outer) brow lift. The middle of the brow's been dropped. She's crying when she accepts her Oscar, but nothing is moving."

In Kidman's latest big screen venture, 'Rabbit Hole,' she portrays a woman who is deep in grief over a lost child. As a mom of three herself, Kidman explained that the role took quite an emotional toll.

"We had to talk it through," she said. "Keith was incredibly supportive through the whole thing,"

She continued, "I had a lot of really bad dreams, which I know means my subconscious has been affected deeply. Keith would hold me. I'd wake up and be crying, and that happened a lot. But there's people going through this, and I was trying to be truthful and real."

Kidman is a hot favorite to receive an Oscar nomination for her performance in the movie.

The SpaFinder Deal Days run from March 8th to March 14th, so you should start planning your beautifying routine now. While you can't use SpaFinder gift certificates or gift cards for this promotion, you'll be happy to know that the discounted offers cover a wide variety of treatments.

If you're considering booking an appointment for Deal Days using SpaFinder, you should head over here for the rules and regulations, plus the ability to find spas in your area. Even if you can't make it during that time frame, you'll be pleased to know that there are also limited-time offers available that run through March. They include dollar amounts off your treatment, gift bags and free products, and percentages off your total on certain days. I looked through their listings, and they are rather thorough as well.

If you're stumped on what treatment to get, consider looking for something slightly more exciting than your Swedish massage, like a hot stone treatment or a Shiatsu massage. If you're into sports, get a deep tissue massage-- but prepare yourself for a more aggressive, problem-solving treatment instead. No matter what kind of spa treatment you like International Shipping and Transport Logistics , it's always good to get it for less.
